Where the data comes from
We only write to companies in a permitted database.
When someone asks where you got their address, the answer is one click away, not a week of searching.
What applies to every company on the list
For every company on your list we record where the data came from, when it was collected, whether it is a legal entity or a sole trader, and on what legal basis you may write to it.
Ventuma only lets you write to countries whose law allows a first letter to a company. That list lives on the server, not in a setting anyone could flip, and opening a market requires a recorded decision with a name and a date.
Every first letter says who you are and how the recipient can stop it. Once someone says no, the program never writes to them again, even after the list is refreshed.
This is not a substitute for legal advice and does not release you from your obligations. But when someone asks where you got their address, the answer is one click away.

Eight safeguards built into the program
- A sole trader is a private person, and the program keeps them apart from companies.
- A company whose legal form is unknown gets no letter.
- The list of countries a first letter may go to lives on the server.
- Opening a market requires a recorded decision with a name and a date.
- An objection applies to the address, not just the company.
- The notice in the first letter is added at sending, not by the template.
- No tracking pixels or redirected links.
- Every customer has their own database.
What is recorded for every company

What we saw elsewhere
We looked at over twenty products. None separates countries by what their law allows: the closest is a single EU-wide switch that stays off until someone turns it on.
Frequently asked questions
Who holds the data?
We do, in a separate database for every customer, so your list cannot reach any other customer. Nothing needs to be installed on your side.
Is this legal?
Ventuma only lets you write to countries whose law allows a first letter to a company. Every company has a record of the legal basis on which you may write to it.
This is not a substitute for legal advice.
What if a company objects?
Once someone says no, the program never writes to them again, even after the list is refreshed. An objection applies to the address, not just the company.
What does maintenance buy us?
By contract: new companies in your segment, updated data, removal of companies that close, and new versions of the program.
Can we upload our own list?
No. Every company on the list must have a record of where its data came from and on what basis you may write to it, and a list of unknown origin has no such record.
You can add a single company yourself, for example one from a trade fair. We load the export of your customers ourselves, so the program does not write to them as new companies.
What if we stop paying?
[Answer from the lawyer.]
Where is the data stored?
Every customer has their own database, hosted by us.
Who can see our list?
You and us, within the scope of the contract. Every customer has their own database; subprocessors are listed in the contract.
See your market before you decide.
Send us one export of your customers and we will show you companies in your industry you have not written to yet.
We get back to you within two working days.
